Winnie Chun

Winnie Chun Memorial Clinic

Winnie Chun was a passionate animal lover, and during her daily walks with her dog Mochi, she observed several abandoned cats in her neighborhood. Teaming up with another neighbor, Winnie worked with the Visalia Feral Cat Coalition to spay and neuter these neighborhood cats. The joy she felt knowing she had played a part in giving these cats a chance at a better life was immeasurable. Her dedication didn’t stop there; Winnie extended her efforts beyond her neighborhood, helping to care for several feral cat colonies in different areas. She treated the feral cats with the utmost respect and compassion, recognizing their dignity and worth.

It’s important to note that a single cat can produce multiple litters each year, leading to nearly a hundred cats in just two years. To honor Winnie’s commitment to humane cat population management, we welcome any donations, which will be used to continue the spaying and neutering efforts. These donations help keep the community’s cat populations, including those at the Chinese Cultural Center and other locations, manageable and healthy.

The Visalia Feral Cat Coalition operates completely on donations and volunteer efforts. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, your contributions are fully tax-deductible under EIN: 46-4559862. Your generosity supports our vital work with feral cats and makes a meaningful difference.
