Visalia County Center Rotary Club
We had the privilege of presenting to the Visalia County Center Rotary Club, a truly wonderful group of individuals dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. It was a delight to share our efforts in supporting feral and community cats. At the conclusion of our presentation, we were overwhelmed with gratitude when we received a generous check for $5,000. Both Dianne and I (Lisa) struggled to hold back our tears of joy. Thank you, Visalia County Center Rotary Club, for your incredible support!

Feral Cat Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Voucher Program Guidelines
Thank you for participating in our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Voucher Program to support the humane management of feral cat populations. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth process:
Appointment Requirement
An appointment must be secured with the Porterville Clinic (Simi Valley Non-profit Spay and Neuter Clinic) prior to receiving a voucher.
• Clinic Details:
Porterville Clinic
1315 W Olive Street, Porterville, CA 93257
Phone: (559) 615-1116
• Scheduling Process: Check the clinic’s Facebook page for the designated day each month when appointments for the following month are released. Call and leave a voicemail indicating that you need an appointment for feral cats and will be using our vouchers. The clinic will return your call if you secure an appointment for the next month’s available dates.
• Cancellations: If you need an appointment during the month, leave a message with the clinic, as they may have cancellations.
• No-Show Notification: If you are unable to trap your cat for the scheduled appointment, please call the clinic and leave a message to cancel. This allows the clinic to offer the slot to another participant.
Voucher Details
• Copay: Each voucher requires a $30 copay, payable at the time of service. No additional charges will apply unless you request optional services (e.g. micro chip).
• Limit: A maximum of two vouchers may be issued at a time. Once used, you may request two additional vouchers.
• Non-Transferable: Vouchers are issued to a specific individual and are not transferable. If someone else will be dropping off the cat on your behalf, please inform us in advance so we can update the voucher with the correct name.
• Presentation: You must present a digital or printed copy of the voucher at the clinic. No exceptions will be made.
Mandatory Requirements
• Ear Tip: An ear tip is required for all feral cats undergoing TNR to identify them as spayed/neutered.
• Traps: Cats must be brought to the clinic in a secure trap. For added security, we recommend using zip ties or string to secure the trap door.
• Cat Comfort: To minimize stress, cover the trap with a cloth or blanket during transport. Place a layer of newspaper, a pee pad, a paper grocery bag, or cardboard at the bottom of the trap to provide stability and comfort for the cat.
Additional Support
• Trap Availability: We can provide traps at the time you receive your vouchers. Please request them when requesting your vouchers.
For further assistance or questions, please contact us or the Porterville Clinic directly. Thank you for your commitment to improving the lives of feral cats in our community.
